Just as the rhythm of the sea leaves its mark on the shores, creating pathways for water to run freely, so do our thoughts and actions create habits that leave their mark in our brain, creating neural pathways, that we may easily return to them.
Some habits form over time through mindless repetition, while others are created through thoughtful and deliberate action.
To go against the tide, working to create new routes and rhythms requires tenacity. Change isn’t easy!
